Our Philanthropy

Annually, each Sigma Chi Chapter around the country organizes a week of philanthropy called “Derby Days.” All of the money raised during Derby Days is donated to the Huntsman Cancer Institute which promotes finding cures to all types of cancer. This past year, the Pi Chapter raised over $10,000 for Huntsman Cancer Institute through hosting events in which Samford Sororities competed for the Derby Days trophy.
